Orchids and Rain Songs

The rain streams down like harp–strings from the sky;
The wind, that world–old harpist sitteth by;
And ever as he sings his low refrain,
He plays upon the harp–strings of the rain.

  2. Yeah, I kind of abandoned it when I figured no one was following. I'm glad I'm picking it back up though, it's nice to have for myself. :)
    Thank you! I need to get back into photography, it's my only artistic outlet.

    And yes, I completely agree. I'm here until the second, and Michele is on the same UC quarter schedule as well, so let's try and get together!

  3. You should totally stay with it! You have great photos, and it's always nice to have a place to put them up/express your thoughts! =]

    As for my blog, thank you =P To be honest, I'm not liking myself very much because I think my writing could use A LOT of work. Haha. It's sort of a dumping ground for my thoughts, and sometimes I'm not very eloquent =P

    As for the blog idea, I was thinking of gathering a group of people around California (preferably college students, and living in very different place) and have us write some sort of blog together. I'm not quite sure where it will go, or how to go about it, but it might be interesting to read about college life from different places and perspectives. Basically, you would write about college life in LA (I imagine it's very interesting and upbeat. Haha.) while I write about life here in quiet Pleasant Hill, and so on.

    The only (major) problem I can see with this is where to find other people from vastly different locations around California to participate, as I think it might be kinda boring if all of us came from the city/large towns, if that makes any sense =P I also worry that people might not be so into because it might all be for nothing, you know? Haha. I don't want to force people into it when no one is going to read it! But I'll look into advertising blogs (if there is even such a thing) and see what I can do.

    Anyway, I will surely get back to you if I find more people!

    Thank you, and keep posting more pictures! =]
